Good Bye 2010, Hello 2011

I can hardly believe it is already 2011. 2010 just flew by! Why does time see to go so quickly as an adult, when it went so slowly as a child? We went over to our good friends' house for a little get together on New Year's Eve. They have a daughter just a month older than Lily. It was very low key, which is awesome. I like low key. I reaaallly like low key. Especially with a kid. And they live about 10 minutes away, so no long drive home late at night! The adults talked, the kids played, we snacked on munchies and yummy enchiladas and rang in the new year, then headed home. We would have stayed a little later had Lily gone to sleep. I tried putting her down in their guest room, but she wasn't having it, so she was up to celebrate at midnight! For the record, she has been up at midnight for two of the three new years she has been alive for.
